NRA Competitive Shooting is at the forefront of the shooting sports in the USA. Program sanctions over 11,000 tournaments and 50 championships, throughout the United States and the World. NRA also sanctions competitive collegiate events. 

• 29 NCAA programs now sponsor the sport of small-bore (.22 caliber) riflery.
• It’s a young sport very accessible to young shooters with many coaches still trying to fill their rosters
• No varsity scholarships available but multiple walk on positions with academic and other merit based financial aid.
• National Rifle Association (NRA) offers Grand Scholarship valued at $20,000 awarded at NRA Youth Education Summit (YES).
